The visit of representatives of Chinese academic institutions to the Laser and Engineering Technology cluster (LITEK™)

The Chinese scientists delegation from the Laser Research Center of Shandong Academy of Sciences,  the Oceanographic Equipment Institute of Shandong Academy of Sciences and the Shandong Information and Communication Technologies Academy, visited the Laser and Engineering Technology cluster on February 7th.Visitors were introduced with research studies and introductory lectures on high-power laser microprojection, high repeatability and the application area of laser microprocessing carried out of  CENTER FOR PHYSICAL SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY  (FTMC) Laser Research department. There were also arranged meetings with business representatives. The Chinese scientist’s delegation had the opportunity to visit the laboratories of JSC “Ekspla”, to hear and see their activities, research and development of lasers and their specifications. The researcher’s visit ended a meeting with the Laser and Engineering Technology cluster (LITEK™) representative, who introduced them to LITEK™ companies.

The visit of the Chinese delegation to Vilnius lasted two weeks in total. They had the opportunity to visit the Center for Physics and Technology (FTMC) Laser Research department and Laboratory of Photonic Industrial Technologies, the Vilnius University Laser Research Center, the National Cancer Institute, the Science and Technology Park of the Institute of Physics and other science and technology parks during their visit.

The result of the meeting is closer ties with scientists of Shandong Academy of Sciences, Laser Research Center, Shandong Academy of Sciences, Oceanographic Equipment Institute and Shandong Academy of Information and Communication Technologies as well as expecting successful cooperation in the future.
