

Delegations from China and new collaboration agreement
Laser & Engineering Technology cluster had three different visits of delegation from China at the end of June. The guests were introduced with Science and Technology Park of Institute of Physics infrastructure and main goals, LITEK achievements and perspectives, companies. During this meeting was expressed mutual desire to cooperate Lithuanian and Chinese research institutions and companies performing R&D activities.

The guests were introduced with Science and Technology Park of Institute of Physics infrastructure and main goals, LITEK achievements and perspectives, companies. During this meeting was expressed mutual desire to cooperate Lithuanian and Chinese research institutions and companies performing R&D activities.
Laser & Engineering Technologies cluster concluded a collaboration agreement with Beijing Nova Technology Ltd. (BNT) on 22th of June, 2016. BNT is a high-tech oriented company based in Beijing, China. It has been involved in linear and rotary encoders business for over ten years and set up a solid network in the industrial sectors and capital market in China.
One of delegations arrived from Guangdong province in China, Guangzhou city, accompanied by representatives of the Belarusian Science and Technology Park. The delegation had Mr. Zhao Nanxian – Deputy Secretary-General of the General Office of the People Government of Guangzhou Municipality, Mr. Guo Fengzhu – Secretary-General of the Association of Guangdong Science and Technology Enterprise Cooperation and other high-tech science and representatives.
Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission delegation engaged in a reciprocal visit to representatives from Science, Innovation and Technology Agency (MITA) and Mr. Julius Paužolis, director of Science and Technology Park of Institute of Physics, visit to Shanghai Science and Technology Parks in 2015. During this meeting was discussed plans for the further cooperation, discussed potential business partners, networking and investment opportunities in Lithuania.
