The Memorandum signed by LITEK™ and CPIC is an important step towards further cooperation
The Laser and Engineering Technologies Cluster (LITEK™), coordinated by the Science and Technology Park of the Institute of Physics, completed the two-year international project LASER-GO GLOBAL, which created a global network of contacts for developing scientific and technological cooperation between clusters / organizations / companies in health photonics. The project involved exhibitions, conferences, missions with direct contacts with world-renowned companies that create and develop innovations in industrial technology, medicine, and other areas, as well as providing guidelines for future joint operations by signing cooperation protocols or agreements.
On 26th of June the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Laser and Engineering Technologies Cluster (LITEK™) and the Canadian Industry Photonics Consortium (CPIC), agreeing to jointly promote and facilitate cooperation, business opportunities between European and Canadian innovative photonics companies, and jointly develop R&D projects such as seminars, workshops, missions, visits to cluster members as well as initiating dissemination of LASER-GO GLOBAL “innovation champions” and their latest products. The Parties of the Memorandum have agreed to share relevant information on market trends, regulatory environment, planned policies in target markets or any other significant initiative that may have a positive or negative impact on SMEs and members of this Agreement, to promote direct cooperation with other relevant stakeholders: universities, research centers, incubators, big companies.
