Gold award for UAB EKSPLA FemtoLux30 laser

The achievements of Lithuanian laser manufacturers in the world shine again with gold. This time, with unique properties laser FemtoLux30, developed by LITEK™ cluster member UAB EKSPLA received international recognition and won the gold award in industrial laser systems category at “2022 Laser Focus World Innovators awards”, issued by presticiuos magazine Laser Focus World.

Panel of judges, consisting of reputable names from optics and photonics community and using a blind judging process, recognized unique “dry cooling” feature of this new ultrafast industrial laser and benefits it delivers for end-users. According to Mantvydas Jašinskas, CEO of UAB “EKSPLA”, FemtoLux 30 not only has excellent parameters, but also does not require maintenance at all. This laser is an excellent tool for the production of displays and microelectronics, for marking fragile materials (such as glass, sapphire or ceramics), as well as for the highest quality micromachining of various metals and polymers.
