The visit of representatives of Svencionys district
Representatives of Svencionys district’s schools have visited Sunrise Valley Technology and Innovation Centre on 26th of February. Delegation consisted school administration, career development professionals, physics, information technology and mathematics teachers. Purpose of the visit was to familiarize with Laser and Engineering Technologies Cluster as a high-tech and science integration/cooperation unit, in order to encourage students to choose technical subjects and studies fields.
During this visit, the director of “Science and Technology Park of Institute of Physics“ Julius Paužolis introduced enterprises and LITEK cluster located in Sunrise Valley Technology and Innovation Center, introduced to career opportunities and expectations for future employees. Kristina Plauškaitė Šukienė and Gediminas Račiukaitais from the „Center for Physical sciences and Technology” acquainted with the possibilities to pursue scientific achievements in the Centre and the benefits of this career choice.
