Seminar: 3D printing. Features and application
Seminar “3D printing. Features and application” was organized in LITEK on 15th of April, 2015.
3D printing is a new and innovative manufacturing technology. This is a process in which 3D models layer upon layer are converted to the real object. This is not only a new way to materialize ideas but also an opportunity to check the functionality of the product and assembleability before series production.
During this seminar the director of JSC „3D prototipai“ Mr. K. Kvietkauskas acquainted the participants with 3D printing technology, spoke about the different printing methods, materials and their properties. Participants had the opportunity to not only get acquainted with this technology, but also to ask questions, learn more about 3D printing capabilities and product applications.
