LITEK™- one of the examples of digitization initiatives for the European industry

In the Innovation Financing Advisory Study “Financing the digital transformation: Unlocking the value of photonics and microelectronics”, prepared by the European Investment Bank for the European Commissions Directorate-General for Research and Innovation in Europe and the Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology, Laser & Engineering technologies cluster (LITEK™) presented as innovative collaboration model cluster. The European Investment Bank, by analyzing the success stories of photonic and semiconductor clusters, has selected seven European clusters for its study: Bosch, Silicon Europe, Minalogic, DSP Valley, Silicon Saxony, LITEK™ distinguished by their innovative activities, highlighting the challenges of funding for these clusters, the achievements, the success factors and contribution to the implementation of European digitalisation initiatives also an importance of their presence near the industrial sector becoming an example of this digitization. The study highlights LITEK™ initiative for innovative cooperation-the information is provided about how LITEK™ infrastructure was created, LITEK™ training and research center was established to unite LITEK™ companies for learning, cooperation in R&D projects, development innovative products also for creation  and development LITEK™ value chain.
