LITEK™ has been awarded with „Bronze Label“ certificate
Laser and Engineering Technologies Cluster LITEK™ has been awarded with a cluster level and its management assesment „Bronze Label“ by the European Cluster Analysis Secretariat (ESCA).
„Becoming a certified and accredited cluster is not easy – it is a result of a diligent and long-lasting activities. Laser and Engineering Technologies Cluster is proud to receive a certified certificate and will continue striving to learn, improve and seek to achieve the advanced Silver Label Certificate, not only maintain the Bronze Label award”, – commented LITEK™ coordinator Julius Paužolis.
ESCA is the only one international cluster assessment organization whose expertise and results are accepted by the European Commission. With a trademark valid throughout whole Europe, certified clusters have a greater chance of engagement with international networks, it is easier for them to find partners for EU-funded projects. According to LITEK™ coordinator Julius Paužolis, the cluster’s management labeling was discussed for a long time, but only Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA) and its implementing project “Promotion and Development of Innovation Networking” (Inolink) lead the LITEK™ cluster finally towards this goal.
„Only three clusters in Lithuania has the “Bronze Label” ESCA certificates so far. Clusters involved in the InoLink project worked intensively and their efforts to move to a new stage of quality in business have paid off. These certificates represent a credibility mark and are a further step towards international development”, said Jolita Razumienė, Project Manager of InoLink.
