The review of exhibition „Photonics. World of Lasers and Optics“, 25-27 of March, Moscow, Russia

Specialised international exhibition „Photonics. World of Lasers and Optics“ was held in Moscow, Expocentre and was organised by Expocentre and Russian Laser Association. More than 165 companies from Russian, Belarus, China, Denmark, Germany, France, Holland, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, USA and Lithuania were exhibiting at the tradeshow. German and Chinese companies were represented in national booths.

Light-Emitting sources and its parts, optical materials and optical equipment, optical components, fiber optics components and instruments, imaging & vision systems and components, opto-electronics, nano-photonics, bio photonic products that use photonics technologies, laser medicine and other related technologies were showcased at the exhibition.

According to the statistics provided by the organizers, more that 9400 visitors attended the exhibition. Next year – 2015, this exhibition will celebrate 10 years aniversary and will be held on 16-19th of March.

LITEK cluster participated at the exhibition and represendted two companies – EKPLA and EKSMA OPTICS.  LITEK cluster had a booth of 15 sq. m., where products and services were presented in posters. More than 100 catalogues of laser components and laser optto-electronics, 50 brochures with USB memory cards were distributed during the exhibition to potential customers.

During the tradeshow despite the meetings with new potential customers a few meeting with partners form Russia, that supplies some raw material and laser components, were organized.
