New opportunities for cooperation
Representatives of Indian company “Tanbo Imaging“ have visited Laser & Engineering Technologies Cluster LITEK on 22th of August, 2017. During this meeting opportunities for cooperation were discussed: Arvind Lakshmikumar, founder and CEO of Tonbo Imaging“ was glad about the meeting and saw particular areas for future collaboration.
The delegation, having learned more about the LITEK cluster and its members, presented their company’s main activities and areas, which would be interested in working with Lithuanian photonic companies. During discussions, opportunities for future collaboration in the designing imaging systems adapted to the automotive industry were discussed.
According to the cluster coordinator J. Paužolis, “such international innovative companies as “Tanbo Imaging” are developing end products – for example, imaging systems. They can integrate not only high-quality optoelectronics components produced by cluster companies, but also cooperate within the product development process itself and create and offer specific technology solutions. If we look broader, our expertise in photonic technologies encourages multinational companies to be interested in creating research units in Lithuania”.
„Tanbo Imaging“ designs, builds and develops advanced imaging and sensor systems for understanding and controlling complex environments. The company uses innovative micro-optics, lower power electronics and real-time image processing to design imaging systems for real world applications. Modern day battlefields, critical infrastructures, unmanned reconnaissance, transport vehicles driving in the dark – are main complex areas and environments that company works with.
