„Innovation week 2017“ – series of open events full of new ideas, insights, innovations & success stories that were organized on 9-13th of October, 2017. It combined various conferences, practical classes and excursions to innovative enterprises or laboratories in various cities of Lithuania.
The exhibition and congress center “Litexpo” brought people to the largest innovation forum in the Baltic region – “Innovation Drift” – on 12-13th of October. Innovation exhibition was organized during this Forum in which participated members and partners of Laser & Engineering Technologies Cluster LITEK – Center for Physical Sciences and Technology (FTMC), “Integrali skaidulinė optika” and “Optronika”.
This year FTMC has presented opportunities of Open Access Centers – the evaluation of various samples by electronic video microscopes, the development and application of laser microfabrication technologies, technology of laser-initiated selective metallization electronics on 3D surface, shaping chips technology for micro liquids, terahertz antennas and unique Fresnel diffraction gratings. One of the most attention-grabbing objects was FTMC logo laser engraved human hair and optical imaging of 3D objects.
“Integrali skaiduline optika” presented their fiber photonics oriented services and highly stable fiber optic components such as model field adapters, ASER and SRS filters, Faraday rotator mirrors, high PER polarizers and etc. “Optronika” presented introduced the company’s services – laser advertising, installations and show elements, as well as advertising equipment – laser projectors and “laser clouds”.
“Science and Technology Park of Institute of Physics” offered excursion to its laboratories and companies. During the tour, participants had chance to know more about operating innovation ecosystem, uniqueness of LITEK Cluster, Open Access Laboratories and few companies that create innovations here – “3D Prototypes”, “Ferentis”, “Integrali skaiduline optika”.
